A Sometimes Gallery is a pop-up style gallery specializing in emerging artists and thematic group shows. Our mission is to make art accessible to all and turn anyone into a collector. Founded and run by artist and gallerist Amy Rowan, we share a warehouse wall with a ceramics studio on Division Street in SE Portland. Open only sometimes.
Artists shown include Lisa Congdon, Anis Mojgani, Kate Bingaman-Burt, Jessica Poundstone, Jason Sturgill, Emily Small, Anna Joyce, and Holly Stalder.
The gallery is located at 3601 SE Division St.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Amy Rowan is a connector, collector, artist, gallerist, curator, arts enthusiast, product developer, foster parent, dog-mom to Frida, and former Studio Manager for artist Lisa Congdon. Originally from Connecticut and holding a BFA in fiber, printmaking and photography from School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Amy has made Portland her home for nearly ten years.
