About A Sometimes Gallery

A Sometimes Gallery’s mission is to offer affordable art while building a strong community of and around artists. The gallery was founded and is run by artist and gallerist Amy Rowan in a found space within the studio of (and donated by) internationally-acclaimed artist Lisa Congdon. Artists shown include Lisa Congdon, Anis Mojgani, Kate Bingaman-Burt, Jessica Poundstone, Jason Sturgill, Anna Joyce, and Holly Stalder.

About Amy Rowan

Amy Rowan is a connector, collector, artist, gallerist, curator, arts enthusiast, product developer, foster parent, dog-mom to Frida, and Studio Manager for artist Lisa Congdon. Originally from Connecticut and holding a BFA in fiber, printmaking and photography from School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Amy has made Portland her home for more than seven years.
